「キッズパラダイス」では、「良い環境は、積極的な姿勢を育む」という考えに基づいて、幼児の発達段階に合わせた遊びと興味の分野を「インタレストエリア」として確立しています。ブロック、テーブルトーイズ、ドラマチックプレイ、アート＆クラフト、サンド＆ウォーター、ライブラリーといった興味分野が、プレイルームいっぱいに区分けされています。子供たちは、この「インタレストエリア」を積極的に探求し、自分で遊びを選択したり、アイディアを試したりすることで、自主的に学ぶ力、自ら意思決定する能力を身につけ、クリエイティビティ（創造性）を伸ばします。子供を見守る立場の先生に課せられた大きな役割は、子供たちの言動を観察し、その成長を見守ることです。子供たちが自由に自分の考えを述べ、意見を言えるような語り掛け（オープンエンディド・クェスチョン）、環境作りが、創造性を伸ばす大きな鍵になるからです。
